We're seeking an experienced political reporter to join our team covering Parliament and national politics. You'll break news, develop sources, and produce in-depth analysis of the political issues shaping New Zealand.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in political journalism
- Strong network of political contacts
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Multimedia Journalist
Create compelling stories using video, photography, data visualization, and text. You'll cover breaking news and produce feature stories that showcase Wellington's diverse communities.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in video editing and photography
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Journalism degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license
Data Journalist
Use data analysis and visualization to uncover stories and explain complex issues. Work with our editorial team to create interactive features and investigative pieces.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in data analysis (Python, R, or similar)
